Data Wizard/Accountant

Having spent ~15 years working with financial data as a qualified accountant; I set myself on a path to expand my data handling skills by becoming a full-stack web & mobile application developer. Thejourney down the 'rabbit hole' has led me through multiple tech stacks but the most familiar are Typescript, Python, Dart, and SQL.

I now still work in the financial sphere but spend less of my time reconciling accounts, and more time developing systems that provide insights & personnel efficiencies. This may be through building custom software; integrating data from disparate systems; developing custom machine learning models; building dashboards & visualisations; and a host of other techniques.

My vocational purpose in life is to use my unconventional & polymathic personality, along with my broad financial experience, to provide unexpected value & insights to my clients.
